The genesis of the series 'fractions.inner edge' are several years of reflection on space, which the artist already showed in the previous series entitled «spaces-non-spaces».
Fractions are moments, moments, frames, seen and recorded during hikes during the isolation period: the view from the window, the sky over the Beskids, the sun, the sea... The inner edge is a sign, a personal expression of emotions, experiences, events - a strong line that cuts through composition, visible on every canvas. Like the previous ones, the paintings from this series are monochromatic, but the strong plane of yellow, black or indigo introduced into the composition organizes the space and cleanses it. 'fractions' are calm, devoid of contrasts. Here and there, orange and yellow come to the fore, gold, blue and turquoise emerge. The presented forms are organic, biological and at times even expressive in nature. The compositions are consistently open and absorbing - they encourage you to enter the canvas.
