Ada Kamińska is an abstract postmodernist painter. Originally from Bydgoszcz, she graduated from the Fine Arts department at the University of Toruń (MA in painting in 2002) and pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw.
Ada feels comfortable working on large formats and abstract monochromatic compositions, where she reveals her sensitivity to color, form, and the space present in her paintings. In her art, to interpret the surrounding landscapes, Ada employs bold brushstrokes and applies a minimalist palette. Light and shadow play a significant role in her works, and the form expresses the essence of each frame.
Her paintings have been exhibited both nationally and internationally, in solo and group exhibitions, including in Zurich and the Louvre in Paris. She has collaborated with Galerie Manualis and Atelier Vayda (Paris), the Castle Museum in Malbork (Poland), and the Art Center Galeria EL in Elbląg (Poland), working on projects related to culture, art, and cultural education.
Currently, she lives and creates in Gdańsk, where she runs her painting studio, teaching painting and organizing Art therapy sessions.
